What AileronMD is

AileronMD is a healthcare business intelligence and operational advisory platform. It analyzes practice-level financial, operational, administrative, market, and performance information to help physician owners and practice leaders understand the business of running an independent medical practice.

AileronMD focuses on questions such as: What is happening in the practice? Why is it happening? Is it meaningful? What may be causing it? What should leadership investigate? What actions may improve performance? What should be monitored next?

What AileronMD is not

AileronMD is not a clinical platform. It does not provide medical advice, clinical decision support, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, care planning, or any other guidance affecting patient care. The product is designed for aggregate practice business data only. Users must not submit protected health information (PHI), patient records, clinical notes, diagnoses, treatment information, or other patient-level clinical data.

AileronMD does not perform clinical functions such as risk scoring, symptom triage, prior authorization of clinical services, medical necessity determination, lab or imaging interpretation, medication management, or clinical coding validation for billing purposes.

Data we work with

AileronMD is designed to receive and analyze practice-level financial and operational information in aggregated or de-identified form. Examples include monthly revenue, expense categories, staffing levels, scheduling utilization, accounts receivable aging, and payer reimbursement trends.

Users should not upload, enter, or share PHI, patient identifiers, clinical notes, diagnoses, treatment information, or any data that could identify an individual patient. If you are uncertain whether a particular data element is appropriate to share, please contact us before uploading it.

Advisory-only guidance

Any analysis, observation, suggestion, or recommendation provided by AileronMD is advisory and informational only. It is not a substitute for professional advice from qualified legal, accounting, tax, regulatory, or clinical advisors.

AileronMD distinguishes between analytical observations and professional advice. Where information enters specialized professional domains, we clearly label those boundaries and recommend that practices consult their own professional advisors.

Decisions remain with you

AileronMD helps physicians and practice leaders make better decisions about the business of medicine. It does not make decisions about the practice of medicine, and it does not make business decisions on behalf of a practice.

Final responsibility for all clinical, operational, financial, legal, accounting, tax, and strategic decisions remains with the practice and its professional advisors.

AileronMD does not guarantee specific business, financial, or operational outcomes. Results depend on many factors outside our control, including market conditions, payer behavior, staffing, patient volume, and the actions the practice chooses to take.
